We are seeking presentations that address vocational and professional development of our members. Proposals may encompass topics pertaining to any or all facets of our membership including adult learners, graduate & seminary enrollment issues, matters impacting secondary school counselors as well as traditional undergraduate enrollment personnel.

In addition, we are seeking presentations concerning what it means to be a Christian in our profession. Our name reflects this priority; we want to continue to explore how our Christian commitment impacts our work each day.

We are looking for traditional 45 minute session proposals that includes allotted time for questions and follow-up information after each presentation.

Potential Presentation Topics:

This list of potential presentation topics is not exhaustive; proposals will be accepted on other relevant issues. Topics for possible presentations may include but are not limited to issues that address:

 Diversity  Women/men in leadership
 Marketing  Technology (current or future)
 Best practices  Professionalism
 Office teamwork  Career opportunities in enrollment
Communication: social media, print, electronic, e-counseling,
 Advancement in the field of admissions /enrollment
 Middle management issues  Issues impacting experienced admissions counselors
 Admissions related software  Cross-cultural & third culture student recruitment
 Database management  Issues impacting experienced admissions counselors
 Campus visits and events  Curriculum development
 Communication with parents and other stakeholders  Issues impacting college advisors

Presentation Proposal Specifications:

  1. Title of the presentation (10 words/75 characters maximum to be printed in conference program).
  2. Audience for which the presentation is most appropriate
  3. Concise description of presentation (100 words/750 characters maximum to be printed in conference program).

After the presentations are selected presenters will be contacted with further details.
