Houston Christian University is honored to host this free workshop for Christian high school counselors. This event is co-sponsored by NACCAP (North American Coalition for Christian Admission Professionals) and Houston Christian University in Houston, Texas. Select Christian high school counselors will attend workshops, participate in round table discussions regarding issues of particular interest to Christian school counselors and have ample time to network with other professionals. The event is FREE to attend, and Houston Christian will cover up to $400 in travel costs. Housing and travel arrangements will be made for you.

Space is limited for the event, so you must apply to attend. Click here to apply. Your inquiry must be approved in order to attend and receive the travel reimbursement. The deadline to apply is April 1, 2025. Those selected to participate will be notified by April 15, 2025.
Registration for the NACCAP 2025 Conference is required for Fly-in/Drive-in participants. The conference runs May 28-30, 2025.

5:15 pm: Depart campus for dinner
6:00 pm – 8:00 pm: Dinner with HCU Admissions Counselors and NACCAP Board
WEDNESDAY, May 28, 2025
8:30 am: Breakfast with HCU Admissions Counselors; Welcome and Fellowship
9:15 am – 9:45 am: Empowering the Next Generation
9:50 am – 10:20 am: Identifying Factors of a “Star Student”
10:30 am – 12:00 pm: Workshops (Select two to attend/30-minute sessions)
Options include: Application Workshop, Scholarship Workshop or Writing a College Essay
